The concept of a place-a physical location that houses our memories, our belongings, our very existence, has evolved and changed as I have grown older. For me, it has always been about a physical location, however, home has become many things, it has taken shape in people, songs, ephemera, and art. Home can also be a place where things are not as perfect as we would like it to be. This new series of work is about belonging to yourself, accepting your physical limitations-harvesting the power of those limitations and creating a "house", a place where you are allowed to co-exist with your inner home, the good, the bad, and the long winding road that it takes to get there at the end of the day.
